Today is Sunday. It is all about live streaming. Find a church today, with your coffee or tea and enjoy some time. Fill your place with worship today. Here’s a list if you need one: https://www.christianworldmedia.com/wordstream/live-service-guide

Psalm 131

Lord, my heart is not proud;
    my eyes are not haughty.
I don’t concern myself with matters too great
    or too awesome for me to grasp.
Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself,
    like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk.
    Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

O Israel, put your hope in the Lord—
    now and always.

Today is a day for peace. What can you control today? What can you manage? Our God is the one who does great things. We rest. We calm. We quiet ourselves. Let us today grab hold of this image of leaning comfortably in his arms. We do the next thing. Maybe we stay off media on Sundays. Or maybe we spend time writing notes to people and drop them in the mailbox.

The walk with the dog was good. The Hallmark movie was fluff but sheesh, I need fluff sometimes. Organizing helps. Talking to people. Yet, my most important conversation happened in his arms. Resting comfortably.

Let us be real with one another on social media. Let us be real when the day is good. Let us be real when the day has been hard. I saw a post yesterday when someone admitted the day crashed. The response was tremendous. Let us be that for each other today.

Peace.
