Good morning, beloved,
So good to be in His presence this morning, to look out on our fresh snow, remembering:
The Lord says,
“Come, let us ·talk about these things [reason together; or settle this matter; or consider your options].
Though your sins are like scarlet [C stained with blood; vv. 15, 21],
they can be as white as snow.
Though your sins are ·deep red [L red as crimson/purple],
they can be white like wool. (Isaiah 1:18 EXB)
I’m so thankful that God is in the business of redeeming, restoring us.
This morning is a powerful reminder of these truths. Our house, which has struggled with heating issues, will be given an entirely new heating system. They will begin the work, most likely, on Monday. So, yes, we need to cope with the cold until then, but, my children and husband seem to be immune to the chilly atmosphere. I add layers, they walk out in t-shirts and shorts.
Today, I was able to cancel my injections for my neck. I pushed back the appointment. Wow. So thankful. I’ve been doing so well. SO grateful. So thankful.
